Government Relations

The Cyclone Research Group shares information in a cooperative effort with all levels of government in the jurisdictions that we conduct operations within. The most notable of these is with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), as well as many Emergency Operations Centers throughout the Coastal United States. Our Weather Forecast Office (WFO) or Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Specialists create a customized approach to each office in regards to coordinating operations while addressing the specific needs of the region such as the area’s vulnerability, evacuation routes, shelters…

*All of these services including the sharing of data, video, and the assistance from specialists is provided free of any charge or obligation to any government body, educational institution, or non-profit organization dedicated to the education or relief of tropical cyclones.
